Why begin therapy?

People come to therapy for a variety of reasons particularly when life feels overwhelming. Sometimes we can feel in crisis or stuck and unable to envisage any way to move forward. For others therapy is an opportunity to have a space to think and feel in the presence of someone who can really listen to them. When in severe distress, therapy can be a life-saver at other times it can help provide a space for growth, personal development and exploration. What is essential is that you find the right therapist for you. Please take a look around my website to help you decide. If you decide I am not for you, I’ve provided links to trusted organisations that might help you find the right therapist.
